Hail South Dakota

The drive up to Mt Rushmore through Custer Park is beautiful and tons of wildlife. The very green plains are full of buffalo, elk and wild turkey. The prairie dogs are everywhere more than are in John's garden!

The sun was shining when we went into Walmart and then all this noise on the roof and thunderrrr. This is why South Dakota is so green, it rained horses and elephants. The hail was the size of ice cubes, huge. It broke the vent cover over the shower, now we have a sky light in the motorhome!
